So Addicted Hey all, I'm still putting a walkthrough into words for y'all so don't think that I forgot about the fact that this blog doubles as a walkthrough and information blog. ;) Well, I've gotten addicted to having blogs and websites! This isn't the only website I own, I also have an Americas Next Top Model blog that I am waiting for Chris to activate, which I have also created a forum for. My other blogging4life blog is called Modern Day Magic: Magical Connections. So thats three blogs that I will have hosted on Blogging4life.com. I also have a fourth blog which is called Grow Your Forums. This blog also has a website accompanying it and is the second domain that I have ever owned. The first was a dud and I lost my creative juice so I sold it. Anyways, so now that is 4 blogs, and 2 forums and that should be enough for a woman who has a lot of time restraints right? Wrong! I have another forum in development and it is also the third domain that I have ever owned. I just got it last night and it is called Web Talk Cafe. I am not going to link it because it is still neeing work. Anyways: You wanna know how I got my money doing these things? Well, first off I work for Kick Start Your Forums, which is an awesome paid posting site-I use their services as well!. If you sign up or use their services be sure to tell them that shireen2007 referred you ;). I also work for Paid Forum Posting, which is another awesome paid posting site. Again, if you sign up or hire them be sure to tell them that letmework referred you! Another way that I make money is Project Wonderful! I am only earning a couple of cents a day but as my blog grows which has started already although i just started this blog this month-the profits will grow. Well thats all for today, be back soon with another bloggery or a walkthrough!

Final Fantasy 1-Armor

NOTE: ALL INFORMATION IS RELATED TO THE NES CONSOLE

The most basic form of armor is cloth. This can be used by all characters; while it has only an evade of 2% and an absorb of 1, it is cheaply available in Corneria for 10 G. Wooden armor is a step up, for all your characters except your wizards and blackbelts, with an evade of 8% and absorb of 4; this is also available in Corneria or Pravoka for 50 G.

For your fighters, ninjas, knights, red mages and red wizards the Silver Armor can be found in the Dwarf Cave, Melmond, or Crescent Lake. This armor offers an absorb of 18 and 8% evade. For your fighters, knights, and ninjas only you can use chain, iron, flame or ice armor. The chain armor can be obtained in Corneria or Pravoka for 80 G and offers an evade and absorb of 15. Iron armor can be found in Pravoka, Elfland, the Marsh Cave, and Corneria Castle for 800G, conferring to your characters an absorb of 24 and an evade of 23. The flame armor is found in the Gurgu Volcano and in addition to giving you an absord of 34 and evade of 10, this armor is effective against Ice attacks. Ice Armor is found in the Ice Cave and has the same stats as the Fire armor, except protects you against Fire attacks. The armor with the highest evade is Steel armor, which can only be used by fighters and knights and is found in Melmond. It's also the most expensive armor at 45,000G, but the 34 absorb and 33% evade are worth the cost. Dragon armor is available for knights only, and offers an absorb of 42, an evade of 10% and is effective against Dragon attacks. You can find this in the Mirage Tower. There are also shirts. Ninjas and black wizards can use the black shirt, which gives a 24 absorb and 2% evade, and casts Ice in battle. White wizards can use the white shirt, which has the same shirt stats, but casts invisible2 in battle. Both of these are found in the Sky Castle. The Opal armor can be used only by knights and offers an absorb of 42 and evade of 10%. This is found in the Sea Shrine only. While wizards can use the cloth and shirts, all the armor you really need for your wizards are the bracelets. All bracelets offer an evade value of 1% and can be used by all characters. The copper bracelet can be found in Elfland and the Marsh Cave, and offers an absorb of 4. The silver bracelet is also found in the Marsh Cave or in Crescent Lake and has an absorb of 15. The opal bracelet is found only at the Sea Shrine, with an absorb of 24. The opal bracelet cannot be bought, only found, so look carefully for it. Lastly, the gold bracelet is available in Gaia or at the Castle of Ordeal for the high price of 50,000 G: it will offer an absorb of 34, the highest available for this type of armor

Blabs of the Day Thats right, this blog also doubles as my personal blog hence the "fan" in the title. Anyways, a couple of days ago I signed up for Entrecard and have had a good flow of traffic since then. I also managed to pick p a few fans along the way. If you're a new blogger like I am I would recommend that you sign up for it and become a dropper like me. (People from entrecard, leave a comment so people can know that entrecard users came through). Some might just breeze through but some are like me and are very courteous about reading a couple posts and even commenting. (yet to happen to me but I speak for another persons experience).  So, yeah sign up for it and look me up lol. I am also imposing a self-challenge among myself where I will make a post to this blog everyday for a whole year! Of course you can only talk so much about Final Fantasy so some more personal blog entries like this one will trickle forth. But hey! You should get to know about the person who is providing information right? I just signed up today so I don't know how traffic will be but we'll see. (blog 365 members leave a comment as well, just to say proud 365 member or whatever) Well, I have that armor post I promised written up and I'll post it tomorrow. Good night!

Final Fantasy 1- Common Ailments&Remedies NOTE: INFORMATION IS RELATED TO THE NES CONSOLE  I will be talking about Final Fantasy 1 for the next few blog posts and basically breaking it down for you. After we have discussed everything from ailments, to armor to black magic I will also post a broken down walkthrough. I remember searching through websites and blogs trying to find an understandable walkthrough so that is why I am going to try to simplify as much as i can. Status Ailments In Final Fantasy 1, there are only a few ailments and they are as follows:
  • Poison-When you are poisoned, you will gradually lose HP until you have only 1 HP left. Every step you take out of a town will cause you to lose one HP point. To remedy this, use Pure or a Pure Potion
  • Stone-When you are in this state, you can't move or do anything, but you also cannot be harmed. However if your entire party is stoned (I know, I know, this was the only way I could word it) it will be Game Over. To remedy this, use the white magic spell called Soft or use a Soft Potion
  • Sleep- Unfortanely the only remedy to this is to be hit. When you are in this state, just as the name suggests you are sleeping.
  • Stun-There is no remedy for this, you will not be able to move until either the battle ends or it wears off.
  • Dark-This will decrease your hit percentage and to remedy Dark, you can either use Lamp or wait for the battle to end. I usually just use lamp.
  • Dead-You can't do anything. You know why? Because your dead! Start the game over and try again!
I was going to continue on with armor but it would take too much post space. Therefor my next post will be dedicated to armor. Until my next post, Game On!

Final Fantasy 1 Storyline The Final Fantasy world is decimated by four factors involving the elemental Crystals, Fire, Earth, Wind and Water. Apparently, something or someone has messed around with the elemental crystals and The evil Garland, a rebellious soldier, has kidnapped the Princess of Coneria and takes her captive, much to the worry and dismay of the King. The king seeks out the 4 chosen "Warriors of light" and sends them on a quest to save the Princess from Garland. Don't worry gamers, this game is NOT a save the dasmal in distress game. After saving the princess, the Warriors soon discover that Garland is following the orders of another evil being and it involves the four elemental crystals. The Warriors soon discover that due mainly to the weakening light of the crsytals the world itself is in disarray. This is causing the elements to roam free and to not work correctly. Along their quest the Warriors help cure an ill Elf Prince and they also help out various towns and people that they meet as they go along their quest. Eventually, they see Bahumat, the Dragon King and he gives them greater power in order to defeat the dark menace, Chaos. Chaos is the one responsible for the worlds disarray and the Warriors encounter him after obtaining and relighting the crystals. This final battle is their destiny and the outcome will determine the fate of the entire world.

Gaming 4 Charity Many people are psyched about the new concept of gaming for charity that begain in January with Cameron Banga and his friends. They decided to try and beat four 3-D Zelda games in 48 hours. It started out as a way to get a few bucks for a pizza but as the money poured in it grew into more when Cameron decided to give the extra money to a charity called Childs Play. Childs Play is a community based charity which has been grown and nurtured from the gaming industry. Over two million dollars in donations of toys, money, books and games have been made for children in hospitals across North America. To see how you can help check out this website, and become a member of these forums to help out the Winnipeg/Canada chapter get started! The forums that I have mentioned was begun by Ryan (Rinman) and a friend of his (Dougbrownfan). I am a member of these forums due to personal interest, as I myself am a gamer.  Join the forums and look me up! My username is Shireen. See you in the gamers circle!
